Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

OpenTrace is built so that your trading journal stays with you. This policy explains what that means in practice.

Last updated: October 15, 2026

1. No data collection

OpenTrace does not collect personal data and does not transmit your trades, notes, screenshots or any other information to external servers. There is no account to create and no sign-in.

2. On-device storage

Everything you enter, including trades, setup tags, mood, notes and chart screenshots, is stored locally on your device. OpenTrace does not connect to exchanges or wallets. Uninstalling the app removes all of this data.

3. No analytics or advertising

The app contains no analytics SDKs, no tracking tools and no advertising networks. We do not build profiles or share data with third parties.

4. App Store distribution

OpenTrace is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple may collect anonymised information, such as downloads or crash reports, in line with its own privacy policy. We do not control that data.

5. Children

OpenTrace is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from minors.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
